A high school student, Haiqa is passionate about increasing female representation in science as a student pursuing a career in STEM. This culminated in the launch of the ROUF project: an initiative true to her ambitions as well as honoring her roots from Azad Kashmir. 

Over three years since its launch, ROUF has embodied exactly what Haiqa envisioned: becoming a fertilizer that nurtures the interests and curiosities of young girls in science. From organizing workshops to leading hands-on laboratory experiments to delivering motivational talks about pursuing careers in science as women, Haiqa takes joy in playing a part in rejuvenating the scientific spirit among the youth of Pakistan, and especially among young girls.
